October 15, 2016, 4:00pm - October 15, 2016, 11:30am
The session will focus on simple postures and movements to help freeing the breath, to experience the support of the ground, and to find a subtle buoyancy in moving.
This way of practicing hatha yoga is ancient, of course. In more recent times in the West, it was expressed beautifully and powerfully by Vanda Scaravelli. My teachers have all been inspired or even taught by her. I have just come back from one whole week of training with my teachers, so I would love to share a hatha yoga practice with anyone interested.
Loose-fitting clothing will help you to move with ease. You are welcome to bring a yoga mat if you have one, but the movements can also be done without a mat. Fee: £6 drop in.
